Rebecca M. Wallace age 86 of Adamsville, TN was born October 15, 1930 in Chester County, TN, the daughter of the late Henry Grady and Bonnie Sansom Maness. She was the second oldest of eight children. She was united in marriage to William Wayne "Scatter" Wallace on September 29, 1949. Mr. Wallace preceded her in death on April 13, 2015. She was a longtime member of the Adamsville Church of Christ. She worked as a supervisor for Garan Manufacturing and worked there for over 40 years. Mrs. Wallace, a TN fan and known as an authority on sports, enjoyed watching sports of all kinds. She also enjoyed reading, watching game shows and cooking. As a great cook, Mrs. Wallace was known for her hushpuppies and banana pudding. She loved spending time with friends and family.
Mrs. Wallace departed this life on November 30, 2016 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 1 Month, 15 Days.
She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Franks and husband Danny, a son, Tony Wallace all of Adamsville, TN, three grandchildren: Danna Talley and husband Jeff of Savannah, TN Jessica Middelton and husband Author of Olive Hill, TN, Jason Emery and wife Katie of Adamsville, TN; six great grandchildren: Asia, Ivy, Faith, Eli, Emma, and Jeremy; a great great grandchild, Aubrianna; four sisters: Dorothy Jane Miller, Martha Nell Bishop, Ruby Sue Malone all of Henderson, TN and Cathy Busby of Sweet Lips, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by a great grandchild, Jacob Allen Wallace; a sister and two brothers.
