Rebecca Lynn Warren Thompson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rebecca Lynn Warren Thompson, age 62, of Collinwood, TN, who left this world on January 4, 2026. She was born on July 25, 1963, in Savannah, TN, she was the daughter of the late Billy Cleo and Sally Marie Staggs Warren.

Throughout her life, Rebecca dedicated herself to her work, sharing her talents at South End Manufacturing, Levi's, and Angelica Manufacturing Company. In 2004, she found love and partnership with her husband, Dennis Richard Thompson Sr., creating a bond that brought joy to both their lives.

Rebecca's vibrant spirit shone brightly in the little things she cherished most—she loved listening to music that stirred her soul and enjoyed the art of photo editing, capturing precious moments in time. Yet, what she cherished above all was the time spent with her family, whose happiness was always her greatest joy.

Rebecca's legacy lives on through the memories she made and the love she spread. As we celebrate her life, we will forever hold her close in our hearts, remembering a warm spirit who brightened the lives of everyone around her.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis R. Thompson Sr.; sons, Dennis Thompson Jr. "DJ" (Terra Elizabeth), and Billy Wayne Warren; daughter, Becky Rene Thompson; sisters, Donna Faye Staggs (Gary Brent), and Lisa Ann Shultz; brothers, Billy Vernon Warren, and Ricky Lynn Warren; grandchildren, Tucker Lee Thompson, Courtney Cheyenne Thompson, Dillon Chase Thompson, Samantha Dawn Warren, Isaiah Allen Stricklin, Colton Wayne Warren, Luna Michelle Warren, Tiffany Nicole Thompson, and Kimberly Hope Lester; great grandchildren, Kashton Thompson, Karson Thompson, Kyson Thompson, Rosalena Grace Thompson, Kayleigh Alexandria Lester, and Zara Leslie Quigley; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Warren Jr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in McGlamery Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be DJ Thompson, Billy Wayne Warren, Patrick Staggs, Colby Mitchell, Andrew Mitchell, and Matthew Quigley.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Vernon Warren, and Ricky Warren.
