Rece Burns

Rece (Shannon) Burns departed this life on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the age of 65 years, 3 months, 3 days.He was born in Pemiscot County, Missouri on December 13, 1947, the son of the late Shirley Newt and Maggie Mae Davis Burns. On April 14, 1966, he was united in marriage to Mary Ann Mancell, who survives. Mr. Burns had worked as a construction worker, sawmill worker and at Clayton Homes. He loved watching TV, working outdoors, gardening, and spending time with his grandkids.Mr. Burns is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Mancell Burns of Savannah, Tennessee; children, Marilyn Norman, Margie Price, Alan Burns, Jessica Burns, James Burns, and Jeremy Mancell all of Savannah, Tennessee; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Regina King of Kennett, Missouri and Jamie Seigler of Doniphan, Missouri.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bruce, T.J., Jack, Michael, and Paul Burns; sisters, Vivian, Marthann, Shirley, and Linda Burns; great grandchildren, Lisa Maryann, Cameron, and Cami Burns.
