Reda Marie Halfacre departed this life on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at the age of 53 years, 1 month, and 1 day. She was born in Bolivar, Tennessee on July 5, 1963, the daughter of Rita Williams Jarrett and the late William McKinley Beavers. On October 26, 1982, she was united in marriage to James Edward Halfacre, who preceded her in death on April 17, 1995.
Reda had worked at Angelica and Garan Manufacturing. She had also worked for Hardin Medical Center Health and Rehab as a housekeeper. She loved talking on the phone, watching home renovation shows, reading the paper, but spending time with her grandchildren was her favorite past-time.
She is survived by her mother, Rita Jarrett and her husband, Lola of Crump, Tennessee; son, Joseph Beavers and his wife, Meghan of Waynesboro, Tennessee; daughters, Janice Ward and her husband, Jonathan of Adamsville, Tennessee and Jo Ann Halfacre of Crump, Tennessee; grandchildren, CJ Halfacre, Seth Beavers, Wesley Beavers, Jaxon Ward, Lillie Ward, and Ava Ward; brother, Cecil Beavers of Memphis, Tennessee; sisters, Lucy Deshazier of Savannah, Tennessee, Mary McGee of Lutts, Tennessee, Cindy Blanton of Savannah, Tennessee, Tina Ayers of Savannah, Tennessee, Deborah Aguero of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, and Rebecca Hayes of Savannah, Tennessee; and boyfriend, James Roy Gibbs of Crump, Tennessee.
In addition to her father and husband, Reda was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill and Bobby Beavers; sisters, Pat Reppond and Nancy Arnold.
