Obituary

Regina Jenkins Hopkins was born on February 24, 1958, in Corinth, Mississippi, to the late Jab Elam and Margarett Bugg.

Regina was a woman of strength, kindness, and deep devotion to those she loved. As a business owner, she worked hard and carried herself with determination and independence. She found joy in serving others through volunteering and was always willing to lend a helping hand wherever she was needed. Regina also enjoyed shopping, making memories with family, and especially loved the beauty and peace of the mountains.

Above all else, Regina treasured her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of her world, and the moments she spent with them brought her the greatest happiness. Her love, guidance, laughter, and presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.

Regina Hopkins departed this life on May 20, 2026, in Tupelo, Mississippi, at the age of 68 years, 2 months, and 26 days.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Hope Gray and husband Jeremy of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; her son, Chuck Jenkins of Corinth, Mississippi; eight grandchildren, Christi Ingle and husband CJ, Ty Hurst and wife McKenzie of Knoxville, Tennessee, Tristan Gray of Savannah, Tennessee, Dylan Gray of Savannah, Tennessee, Aiden Gray and companion Samantha Miller of Pickwick, Tennessee, Browning Gray and companion Paige Mercer of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, Remington Gray of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, and Gracie Gray of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; four great-grandchildren, Lakely Ingle, Charlie Ingle, West-Lynn Ingle, and Piper Hurst; along with many beloved cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
