Regina Pierce Hayes, age 66, of Florence, AL, passed away on May 23, 2026. She was born on December 16, 1960, in Florence, AL, the daughter of the late Harry B. and Ester Ivon Eaton Pierce.

Regina dedicated many years of her life to her career as a dispatcher for Quad City Taxi, where her hard work and commitment were deeply appreciated until her retirement. 

She was united in marriage to Randy Thurston Hayes Sr., sharing a loving bond that was cherished by all who knew them.

A true lover of life’s simple joys, Regina found great happiness in reading, cooking, and, most importantly, spending precious moments with her family. Her heart especially belonged to her grandchildren, with whom she shared a special and enduring love.

Regina's warmth, kindness, and devotion will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to have known her. Her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched and the family she held so dear.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Hayes Sr.of Florence, AL; sons, Roger Dison (Danielle), Kenneth Dison, Randy Hayes Jr., and Michael Hayes, all of Florence, AL; brother, Dewayne Pierce of Florence, AL; sisters, Brenda Corbine (Jimmy) of Florence, AL, Joyce Maxwell of Bearcreek, AL, Wanda Lambert (Scottie) of Cypress Inn, TN, and Donna Perry (Richard) of Collinwood, TN; 14 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Regina was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Ester Eaton; brothers, Jimmy Pierce, Eugene Pierce, Glenn Pierce, and Donnie Ray Pierce; and sisters, Betty Brown, Crystella Elliott, and Violet Hubbard. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm service time at Piney Grove FWB Church in Cypress Inn, TN.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Piney Grove FWB Church in Cypress Inn, TN with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove FWB Church Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Wayne Pigg, Tanner Hayes, Roger Dison, Kenneth Dison, and Jeremy Brewer.
