Rev. Johnny Hugh Sparks

Rev. Johnny Hugh Sparks was born on December 21, 1958 in Gardenia, California to the late Gordon Hugh Sparks and Betty Cody Gee. He grew up in the Mt. Gilead community of McNairy and Chester County. He was a Minister and had worked at Ringer America in Corinth, Mississippi for approximately 17 years where he was a foreman. Bro. Johnny was a member of North Corinth Baptist Church. He passed from this life on Thursday, January 21, 2010 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 51 years and 1 month.Survivors are his wife, Regina McCullar Sparks of Selmer, Tennessee; a son, Joshua Sparks of Selmer; mother, Betty Gee of Selmer; sister, Deborah Price of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; brother, Robert Lee Gee, Jr. of Selmer. A host of other relatives and friends.Other than his father, Bro. Johnny was also preceded in death by a brother Marvin Glen Sparks.
