Rheba Henry

Rheba Hunt Henry of Waynesboro, TN was born August 1, 1923 in Pinsonfork, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Thomas Monroe and Edna May Hunt. She was united in marriage to James Melvin Henry and he preceded her in death on October 27, 1996. Mrs. Henry was a homemaker and a member of the Beech Creek Church of Christ in Waynesboro, Tennessee.



Mrs. Henry departed this life on Monday, November 23, 2009 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 3 Months, 22 Days.



She is survived by two brothers, Garry E. Hunt of San Antonio, TX, James Hunt of Panama City, FL; two sisters, Carmen Hunt of Pinsonfork, KY, Ruth Gerber of San Diego, CA; nieces and nephews.



In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Henry was preceded in death by two brothers, Ermil Hunt, Tommy Hunt; two sisters, Clara Weger, Naomi Murphy.



Services will be held on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Beech Creek Church of Christ in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Bobby Pinckley officiating. Burial will follow in the Prater's Chapel Cemetery at Clifton, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Jim Hunt, Garry Hunt, Lonnie Hunt, Tim Prater, Kirk Prater, Roy Pevahouse. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 25, 2009 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro. Her body will be placed in the church 2 hours before the service on Friday, November 27, 2009.
