Rheba Faye Morris, age 91, of Ramer, Tennessee, passed away on October 10, 2026.

Born on May 14, 1935, in Adamsville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late John Teuton Droke and Mamie Odell Dean Droke. Determined to build the life she envisioned, Rheba moved to Memphis as a young woman and did just that. She spent over 30 years as a data processing manager for Georgia Pacific, placing her at the forefront of early computing and technology. In the era of punch cards, her sharp mind led her to develop a system that consolidated data onto a single card, drastically streamlining the company's process. Her family best describes her in three words: tenacious, courageous, and fearless.

Rheba was an avid reader of both fiction and nonfiction and had a deep appreciation for peace and beauty. At her home in West Memphis, Arkansas, she created a serene haven with a collection of wind chimes placed throughout her yard. She was also deeply committed to serving others as an active leader in her local Disabled Veterans Association. Known for her kindness, she routinely baked pecan tarts and assorted muffins to bring joy to veterans in the hospital. Rheba attended Stantonville United Methodist Church, and her grandchildren will forever cherish the warmth of her legendary hugs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mamie Droke; her beloved husband, Jesse Allen Morris, who passed away on November 15, 1982; and her brother, John Teuton Droke Jr.

She is survived by her children, Sheila Alexander of Ramer, TN, and Dawn Forbis of West Memphis, AR; her step-children, whom she loved deeply and was exceptionally close to: Jesse Allen Morris III and his wife Phyllis of Wynne, AR, and Margaret Alice Smith and her husband Ricky of Cherry Valley, AR; her sister, Betty Plunk of Stantonville, TN; her four grandchildren: Morgan Hignight and husband Daniel of Clarkridge, AR, Jessica Scrape and husband Alex of Searcy, AR, Lexi Forbis of Marion, AR, and Evie Forbis of Charlottesville, VA; her six great-grandchildren: Fallan Forbis, Clay Scrape, Emerson Hignight, Anderson Hignight, Autumn Forbis, and Ellie Scrape; her nieces: Jane Ashe, Brenda Rickman, Debbie Yarbrough, Faye Biggs, and Kaye Duncan; and her nephew, Jeff Droke.
