Rhett Franklin Dennis, treasured son of Lane and Beth Hodges Dennis was born on Saturday, February 6, 2016, in Florence, Alabama, weighing 6 lbs. 3 oz. and was 20 inches long.

Rhett Franklin Dennis departed this life on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the tender age of 1 month and 27 days. During his brief time here he experienced holding hands with mommy and daddy, hugs and kisses from his family, especially from his big sister, listening to his mommy and daddy sing songs, and being told "I love you" countless times. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that he touched in many ways throughout his short, yet memorable life.

Rhett is survived by his loving parents, Lane and Beth Dennis of Savannah, Tennessee; big sister, Anna Lane Dennis; big brother, Emmitt Dennis; grandparents, Robert and Phyllis Hodges of Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee, Mike and Dianne Dennis of Savannah, Tennessee; great grandparents, Billy and Dorothy Wolfe of Savannah, Tennessee; aunt and uncles, Vance and Ashley Dennis, and Phillip Hodges.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Gina Dennis.
