Rhonda Faye Rumbaugh Malone
was born in Florence, Alabama on January 4, 1952 the daughter of the late James Townsend and Arnita Sanders Rumbaugh.
On August 21, 1971 she was united in marriage to Johnny Anthony Malone, who survives.
Rhonda was a cook at Buffalo River Trailride. She was the caregiver for her son for 50 years. Rhonda loved the Lord and was a member of Church of God Prophecy in Collinwood, Tennessee. She loved to bargain hunt and travel. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family and spending time with family and friends.
Rhonda departed this life on Thursday, February 3, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 70 years and 30 days.
In addition to her husband of 50 years Johnny of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by her children, Michael Malone and Monica Caywood and her husband Ted, all of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Mattie Ann Pruitt of Florence, Alabama, Ashley Hamm and her husband Billy of Burnsville, Mississippi, Mason Malone of Collinwood, Tennessee, Brooklynn Caywood of Boone, North Carolina, and Gage Malone of Collinwood, Tennessee; great grandchildren, Emma, Judah, and Waylon; and sisters, Gail Risner, Kathy Pitts, Connie Pully, Kay Holt, Sandra Risner and her husband David, and Pam Pigg, all of Collinwood, Tennessee, Jan Pigg and Randy Bunt of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and Joyce Staggs of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Richie Thrasher; one grandchild, Breana Caywood; one sister, Peggy Pigg; and two brothers, Coy Rumbaugh and David Rumbaugh.
