Richard F. Carlson

Richard Fredrick Carlson was born February 24, 1958 in Jackson, Tennessee the son of Lavelle Jones Carlson and the late Fredrick Carlson.Mr. Carlson was a minister and had served for thirty years in the ministry for the Church of Christ. He held his final service at Union Church of Christ. Mr. Carlson was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Carolina Messenger.Mr. Carlson departed this life on April 17, 2010 in at the age of 52 Years, 1 Month, 24 Days. He is survived by his wife Carla (Hounshell) Carlson of Union, SC; a daughter, Leah Carlson of Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN; a son, Adam Carlson of Elizabethton, TN; and his mother, Lavelle Carlson of Alamo, TN.
