Richard Carl Chambers
was born in Houston, Texas on December 5, 1935, the son of the late Albert Milton and Lillie Lee Vardman Chambers.
Richard retired from working in Natural Gas and Oil Pipeline. He was a member of Morris Chapel Baptist Church.
He departed this life on Monday, October 19, 2026 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 90 years, 10 months, and 14 days.
Richard is survived by his children, R. T. Chambers of Spring, Texas, D. D. Smilie of Willis, Texas, and Trey Chambers of Willis, Texas; one grandchild, two great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry R. Chambers and one sister, Virgie Lee Clauson.
