Richard Etheridge

Richard Etheridge of Bethel Springs, TN was born July 23, 1941 in Memphis, TN the son of the late Evander Dixon \"Dick\" Etheridge and Rachel Oliver Etheridge.Mr. Etheridge graduated from Bethel Springs High School in 1959. He was a member of the Bethel Springs church of Christ. Richard loved his church, his church family, and enjoyed talking with people. He liked watching episodes of The Andy Griffith Show and wrestling on television. He farmed with his mother for many years having grown cotton, corn, and pimento peppers along with raising cows and pigs. Richard was a simple man who lived a simple life. Material things were not important to him. What was important to Richard was being a good Christian man. Mr. Etheridge departed this life on February 17, 2013 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 6 Months, 25 Days. He is survived by his neighbors in the Masseyville Road area of Bethel Springs, several cousins, and his extended church family and friends.
