Richard Keith (Rick) Fulwood, born February 28, 1954 in Memphis, TN, passed away on March 27, 2024, in Corinth, Mississippi at age of 70. He was the cherished son of the late Joe Billy and Arminta Louise Teague Fulwood.
In 2009, he found love and companionship with Rosemary Tillman until her passing on December 29, 2020. Rick dedicated his career to teaching and coaching football in various school systems including Brownsville, Dyer County, Gibson County, and Adamsville. Beyond his professional life, he found joy in playing the guitar, staying active through workouts, and indulging in his collection of guns. However, his true happiness stemmed from cooking for his loved ones.
His memory lives on through his children: Joseph, Patrick, and Charlie Fulwood all of Dyer, TN, Maggie Miller and her husband Jason of Union City, TN, Anna Powell and her husband Jameson of Memphis, TN. He is also survived by his brother, Steve Fulwood and wife Melinda of Mooresville, NC; along with five beloved grandchildren: Emmett and Cole Miller; Scarlett, Dean, and Warren Powell. Rick also leaves behind a host of extended family members and friends who will continue to cherish his memory.
Richard Keith (Rick) Fulwood will be remembered not only for his professional dedication but also for the love he shared through his passions and the impact he had on those around him. The family would like to thank the Magnolia Regional Healthcare-ICU Staff for the care they provided for our dad and the kindness they showed to our family.
