Richard Leonard Johnson

Richard Leonard Johnson was born August 26, 1942 in Pasadena, CA the son of the late Leonard and Ruth Burke Johnson.He was united in marriage to Wanda Faye Knight on December 23, 1981.Mr. Johnson was a member of of the Sulphur Wells Church of Christ in Springville, TN. He was a personnel director for Goodyear working for the company for 39 years. He presently worked as Workman's Compensation Specialist for the state of Tennessee. He was a member of WHWTCA in Indiana and Candfield, OH. Richard loved raising and showing his many Westies under the kennel name, WanRich Westies with many champions and the number one Westie in the Nation in 2004.Mr. Johnson departed this life on March 11, 2013 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 6 Months, 13 Days.He is survived by his wife, Wanda Johnson of Michie; a daughter, Candice Johnson of Austin, TX; two step sons, Jason Dickey and Shane Dickey both of Michie; a sister, Lynn Burt and husband Jim of San Francisco, CA; mother-in-law, Jettie Knight of Michie; a host of nieces and nephews; a multitude of West Highland White Terriers and many great Westie friends.
