Richard Wayne Johnson of Collinwood, TN was born August 11, 1949 in Chattanooga, TN, the son of the late Charles Edward and Frances Thrasher Johnson. He was united in marriage to Linda Cummins on December 19, 1986.Mr. Johnson was a retired heavy equipment operator with International Union of Operating Engineers.Mr. Johnson departed this life on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at his home at the age of 63 Years, 1 Month, 12 Days.He is survived by his wife, Linda Cummins Johnson of Collinwood, TN; stepsons, Jeff Fielder of Dallas, TX, Randy Fielder of Nashville, TN; a grandchild, Brittney Fielder; and his Jack Russell Terrier, Missy Johnson.In addition to his parents, Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by brothers, Glenn Edward Johnson and Charles Freddy Johnson. Services will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 5:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Ricky Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing.Pallbearers will be Tony Burns, Anthony Dotson, Jamie Stults, Jimmy Skaggs, Jimmy Skaggs, Jr. and Stan Burns.
