Ricky Gant

Ricky Gant was born August 9, 1948 in Knoxville, TN the son of the late Thomas Lee and Mildred Hutchinson Gant.

He was united in marriage to Carolyn Ely on February 13, 1999. 

He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps for 12 years, serving during the Vietnam War. 

Ricky worked for many years with Global Marine traveling all over the country. An avid baseball fan of the Houston Astro's, loved his dogs, hanging out with friends and making new friends were some of his favorite things to do.

Mr. Gant departed this life on August 21, 2023 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 12 Days. He is survived by his wife, Carol Gant of Adamsville, TN; daughter, Melissa Hoover and husband Darryl of Livingston, TX; son, William Gant of Beaumont, TX; a brother, Larry Gant and wife Brenda of Sweetwater, TN; stepson, Donnie Tarver; two step daughters, Barbara Wright and husband Wade, Rene Clark and husband Chris; two granddaughters, Destiny and Cheyenne Harris; and a host of extended family and friends.
