RICKY L. "BO" PETTY
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 28, 1959 the son of the late Tom Petty and Hester Tidwell Steakley.
On February 11, 1990 he was united in marriage to Mary Louise Calhoun, who survives.
Ricky was the owner and operator of Petty Auto Salvage. He had also worked for J B Smith Logging Company. Ricky was a family man, he especially loved his grandchildren. He loved to have fun and cook out with his family and friends. Another one of his great enjoyments was his work, Junk and Salvage.
Ricky departed this life on April 4, 2019 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 60 years, 1 month and 7 days.
In addition to his wife of 29 years, Mary Petty of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by his children, Christopher Lynn Petty of Savannah, Tennessee, Tuesday Smith of Savannah, Tennessee, Nicholas Petty of Illinois, Destiny Beavers of Savannah, Tennessee and Eric Beavers of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Dalton Smith, Dalynn Beavers, Rilynn Beavers, Logan Morris and Kaycen Morris; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Petty and Hester Tidwell Steakley, and numerous brothers and sisters.
