Robbie Louise Daniel

Robbie Louise Brison Daniel of Cypress Inn, TN was born May 31, 1926 in Wayne Co., Tennessee, the daughter of the late Noah Cecil and Waymon Elizabeth Creecy Brison. She was united in marriage to Jeffie Coolidge Daniel on March 17, 1945 and he preceded her in death on August 12, 2008. Mrs. Daniel was a retired factory worker having worked at Genesco Shoe Manufacturing and Murray Ohio Manufacturing. She was a member of the Millrock Freewill Baptist Church in Collinwood, Tennessee. Mrs. Daniel departed this life on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 7 Months, 15 Days. She is survived by a son, James Edward Daniel and wife, Kathy of Cypress Inn, TN; a daughter, Rita Kay Daniel Butts and husband, Bobby of Chattanooga, TN; six grandchildren, Michelle Adams and husband, Tommy, Deanna Daniel, Amelia McMurtrey, Shelia Daniel, Danielle Butts; four great-grandchildren, Falon Douglass, Christian Douglass, Alexis McMurtrey, Will McMurtrey; two sisters, Walsie Pulley of Waynesboro, TN, Roxie Moore of Iron City, TN; a former daughter-in-law, Brenda Brison of Waynesboro, TN; several nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by a son, Burnett Brison; a grandson, Marshall Brison; two brothers, James Walter Brison, J.B. Brison; a sister, Imogene Daniel. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Millrock Freewill Baptist Church in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Junior Daniel, Stacey Holt, Tim Hanback officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors directing. Pallbearers will be Gaylon, Curtis, Scotty, Donnie, Adam, and Joseph (Bo) Daniel. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Daniel, David Paul Daniel, Bobby Holt, Vince Moore, Terry Swinea, and Christian Douglass. Visitation will be on Monday, January 17, 2011 from 5 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday, January 18, 2011 from 10 am until service time at Millrock Freewill Baptist Church in Collinwood, TN.
