Graveside Service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2009, 1:00 pm at Memorial Gardens in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Robert Huffaker officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Sunday, Dec. 20, 6:00-9:00 pm and on Monday, Dec. 21, 8:00 am until 12:30 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Waynesboro,TN
Mrs. Hickerson departed this life on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Glenwood Healthcare in Florence, Alabama at the age of 79 Years, 5 Months, 24 Days. She was born June 23, 1930 in Athens, Alabama the daughter of the late Jerry Robert Joines and Gladrous Ellen Reynolds. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hickerson was preceded in death by husband; Kenneth Reece Hickerson.
Mrs. Hickerson was a retired office worker .
She is survived by two step-sons, Larry Hickerson of St Louis, MO, and Barry Hickerson of Augusta, GA;
4 step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren
sister, Mary Nell Temple of Madison, TN;
very special nephew; Kenneth Hickerson of Florence, Ala
