Robbie Morris Smith

Robbie Morris Smith was born July 8, 1915 in Waynesboro, TN the daughter of the late Roy and Sarah Jane Butler Morris. Mrs. Smith died Friday, December 20, 2013 at Wayne Care Nursing Home in Waynesboro at the age of 98 Years, 5 Months, 12 Days. Mrs. Smith was married to Louis Allen Smith, September 29, 1939 and he preceded her in death April 15, 1993. She was a member of Leatherwood Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by four sons, Robert (Diane) Smith of Waynesboro, TN, Bill (Joan) Smith of Loretto, TN, Lowell (Johanna) Smith of Waynesboro, TN, and Steve Smith of Waynesboro, TN, a daughter, Myrtle (Dexter) Gobbell of Rossford, Ohio, 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a son, Rickey Smith, a grandson Jeff Smith, brother, Everett Morris, and four sisters, Lela Cash, Era Harper, Jewell Risner, and Mildred Moore, several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro with Tommy Burke and Whitney Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Ralph Cole Cemetery near Waynesboro with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers are Kerry Smith, Dustin Garland, Richard Smith, Dalton Smith, Randy Morris, and Darrell Garland.
