Robert Charles Cook "Cookie" was born on October 25, 1954 in Savannah, Tennessee, the son of the late William Robert Cook and Dorothy Jean Franks White.

On July 1, 1989, he was united in marriage to Billie "Diane" Davis, who survives.

Mr. Cook retired from Clayton Homes in Savannah, Tennessee where he worked as a supervisor. Charles, aka Cookie, loved his family. His girls and his grandchildren were his life. Throughout his life, he enjoyed playing golf and softball with his lifelong friends. Second to his family, he loved Alabama football. He bled Crimson. Cookie was a people person. He never met a stranger. He kept the roads hot between Piggly Wiggly and Bo's Airport Market. He was a great man, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Robert Charles Cook "Cookie" departed this life on March 19, 2026 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 71 years,4 months, and 22 days.

He is survived by his wife, Billie "Diane" Davis Cook; daughters, Jeanna Cook, Jennifer Harville, Tabatha Clausel, and Deana Spears (Jeff); brothers, Jimmy Cook, Timothy Cook, Mickey White, and Terry White; dad, L.C. White; grandchildren, Alyssa Meyers (Dustin), Kristin Garrison, Jocelyn Cook, Tyler Franks, Ryan Brown, Jessica Santoro (Justin), Brooke Robbins, and Hali Dicus; great grandchildren, Ryan Lockman, Layna Meyers, Cooper Santoro, Chandler Santoro, Lillamore Franks, Mason Robbins, Carson Dicus, Octavia Dicus, Dawson Dicus, and Princeton Dicus.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Bridgett Dicus; grandson, Myles Cook; father in law, Billy Davis; and mother in law, Dorothy Davis.
