Robert Allen Cox

Robert Allen Cox was born February 26, 1952 in Selmer, TN, the son of the late Robert Shelby and Tina Mae Roberson Cox. He was united in marriage to Jackie Tull on May 12, 1971. He was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church of Bethel Springs, TN. He went to school for and worked with computers for 10 years. He also was a Ham Radio Operator for a very long time. Mr. Cox departed this life on November 29, 2017 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 65 Years, 10 Months, 3 Days.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jackie Tul Cox of Selmer, TN; two sons, Andy Cox and wife Sonya of Jackson, TN, Adam Cox and wife Jennie of Selmer, TN; a sister, Chris Matthews of Henderson, TN; a brother, Bret Cox and wife Sherry of Christiana, TN; six grandchildren: Noah, Laila, Maleah, Gabriel, Sidney Wade and Libby; and a host of other relatives and friends

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cox was preceded in death by three sisters: Cythina Tucker, Shelia Flatt, Lisa Adkins; and a brother, Bart Cox.
