ROBERT "TRASHY" DENTON, JR.
was born in Jackson, Tennessee on June 10, 1963 the son of the late Robert Denton, Sr. and Geneva Yerbey Riley.
On December 2, 1986 he was united in marriage to Lenora Rainey, who survives.
Robert was the owner and operator of Bob's Tire Shop in the 1980's and 90's. He also had been an escort driver for A&G Trucking. Trashy, as he was known by all his friends, was a family man. He loved being outdoors, his yard was always spotless. Playing pool daily with his friends was one of his greatest loves.
Robert departed this life on April 4, 2019 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 55 years, 9 months and 25 days.
In addition to his wife of 32 years, Lenora, he is survived by his two sons, Tim Rainey and his fiancee Amanda and Kevin Rainey; one granddaughter, Keely Rainey, one step granddaughter, Leeanna Brown and one step grandson, Wesley Floyd; one sister, Dena McLin; and three special friends, Donald "Quack" Shubert, Clint "Roadhusler" Shelby and David "Hacksaw" Bishop.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Gena Denton and Donna White, one brother, Mark Denton, stepfather, Manford Riley and a special friend, Johnny "Moony" Mullins, Sr.
