Robert Lee Dixon departed this life on August 26, 2018, at the age of 75 years, 2 months, and 26 days. He was born in Savannah, Tennessee on May 31, 1943, the son of the late Harry Lee Armstrong and Annie Higgins Dixon.
Robert was a member of Graham Chapel United Methodist Church and had worked for Fred's Dollar Store, DeBerry Roofing, and as a pipeliner for TVA in Yellow Creek, Mississippi. He loved his grandchildren, music, dancing, and dressing up.
He is survived by his daughters, Vikki Dixon (Jerry Petty) of Savannah, Tennessee, Rosette Dixon of Mansfield, Connecticut, and Ebony Cunningham (Freddie) of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Jerome Dixon (Katie) of Savannah, Tennessee, Tyrone Ross of Denver, Colorado, and Jeffery Caldwell of California; stepson, Michael Caldwell of Savannah, Tennessee; stepdaughter, LaKisha Caldwell of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; sisters, Georgia Dixon and Inez Dixon, both of Savannah, Tennessee; twenty-three grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and three step grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brothers, James Jr. and R.D. Dixon; and sisters, Maude, Hattie, Ann Laura, and Roberta.
