Robert Easley was born on July 26, 1933 in Savannah, Tennessee, the son of the late James Eldrige and Cammie Harmon Easley.
Mr. Easley honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He worked in shipping at Tennessee River Pulp and Paper in Counce, Tennessee and lived in Savannah, Tennessee all of his life. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, and collecting knives, arrowheads, and Civil War relics and artifacts.
Robert Easley departed this life on December 26, 2020 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 87 years and 5 months.
He is survived by his son, Eddie Lee Battles and his wife Mary of Savannah, Tennessee; daughters, Roselyn Wolverton and her husband Calvin of Mexico Beach, Florida and Regina Easley-Young and her husband Doyle of Waco, Texas; brother, Jerry Easley; sisters, Joyce Tucker and Elizabeth Rubery; grandchildren, Brandy Bryant and her husband Sam, Allison Battles, Lee Tidwell, Micah Wolverton, Harrison Young, and Meredith Sontag; and great grandchildren, Dylan Moore and his wife Rachel, Mallory Moore, Easton Moore, Skarlet Tidwell, and Dax Tidwell.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gwen Easley, and his brother, Oscar Easley.
