Robert Jerry Wilkins

Robert Jerry Wilkins was born on April 25, 1936 in Morris Chapel, Tennessee, the son of the late Robert William and Avis Irene Vickery Wilkins.

Mr. Wilkins honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1960-1962. He worked as an Inspecting Engineer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Robert enjoyed working on cars and was a member of Shiloh Car Club. He loved to spend time with his family. Mr. Wilkins was a member of Morris Chapel Baptist Church in Morris Chapel, Tennessee.

Robert Jerry Wilkins departed this life on Sunday, May 31, 2026 in Erin, Tennessee, at the age of 90 years, 1 month, and 6 days.

He is survived by his son, William Charles Wilkins (Rebecca Sue) of Clarksville, Tennessee; daughter, Roberta Lynn Lang (David) of Tyler, Texas; sister, Phyllis A. Ruoho of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Robert Thomas Wilkins, Charles Taylor Wilkins, Samantha Harlow, and Brian Timothy Wilkins; and great grandchildren, Emmallie Grace Wilkins, Finnigan Oliver Wilkins, Eleanor Rose Wilkins, Eli Robert William Wilkins, and Grayson Miles Wilkins.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Sue McClearan and grandson, Brett Allen Harlow.
