Robert Carrol Littrell

Robert Carrol Littrell of Waynesboro, TN was born June 16, 1947 in Revilo, TN, the son of the late Floyd I. and Ida Brown Littrell. He was united in marriage to Brenda Gail Sparks on June 10, 1966.
Mr. Littrell was a butcher for 48 years with 23 years of that time at E. W. James & Sons in Waynesboro, TN. He was a member of the Houston Baptist Church where he had served as pastor for 30 years and was a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Association. Mr. Littrell departed this life on Friday, July 12, 2013 at his home at the age of 66 Years, 26 Days. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Gail Sparks Littrell of Waynesboro, TN; a daughter, Carrol Lynn Littrell Kuehn and husband, Daniel Kuehn, Jr. of Wernersville, PA; sons, Kenneth Wayne Littrell and wife, Regina Brown Littrell, Rodney Dale Littrell and wife, Jill White Littrell, and Christopher Lee Littrell and wife, Jessica Staggs Littrell all of Waynesboro, TN; eight grandchildren, Colby, Jacob, Chloe', Lucy, Carlie, Elsie, Cordel, and Mason; brothers, Jessie Littrell of Leoma, TN, Edgar Littrell of Lawrenceburg, TN; sisters, Ada Fowler of Leoma, TN, Evelyn Hughes of Leoma, TN; nieces and nephews, and very close friends in Waynesboro that are considered family, Jerry and Jody Baugus, David and Gail Edwards, Darlene Skelton, Jeremy and Jerrod Baugus, Michael and Keila Beth Edwards, Michael and Wayne Grimes, Joey Hurst, and the late Willodean Skelton.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Littrell was preceded in death by brothers, Ed and Paul Littrell; sisters, Alberta Sutton, Dean Taylor, and Kathleen Cherry. Services will be Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11:00 am at Houston Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Jessie Littrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Jerry Baugus, David Edwards, Hershel Lynn, Mark Butler, William Rogers, and Rusty Pate. Honorary pallbearers will be Colby, Jacob, and Cordel Littrell and Mason Wilkerson.
