Robert Luther
was born in Alabama on September 4, 1949 the son of the late Harvey Harrison and Biddie Will Pearl Cunningham Luther.
On May 12, 1972 he was united in marriage to Sarah Ann Wilson, who preceded him in death January 1992.
Mr. Luther had been employed with PCA for 35 years as a Maintenance Pipe Fitter. He enjoyed NASCAR and going to Talladega. He liked spending time with his friends, family and grandkids. Mr. Luther enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, four wheeler riding, camping, and picking on (joking) with people. He was a handyman and enjoyed carpentry and fabricating. He was an Army Veteran and was enlisted during the Vietnam era.
Mr. Luther departed this life on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the age of 61 years, 9 months, 8 days.
Mr. Luther is survived by a son, Ben Luther and wife Amy of Childers Hill, Tennessee; 2 grandchildren, Alec Luther and Baily Luther; 4 brothers, Jack Luther of Golden, Mississippi, Morris Luther of Alabama, Aaron Luther of Tennessee and Richard Luther of Corinth, Mississippi; 2 sisters, Doris Henderson of Tennessee and Carolyn Kiddy of Ramer, Tennessee; special friend, Jane McMeans of Childers Hill, Tennessee.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Theron Luther.
