Robert Dale Nutt

Mr. Nutt graduated from Wayne County High School, served in the United States Air Force, was a co-founder of a local business, Nutt Bros Garage, for many years, worked for Kauff Towing in West Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and recently retired from a contracting company DSC of Waynesboro. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 130 in Waynesboro.

Robert is survived by his wife, Barbara Lynn Nutt and his children, Debra Ann Burns of Bartlett, TN, Richard Allen Nutt (Annette) of Sale Creek, TN, Denise Annette Skaggs of Columbus, GA, and Melonie Hope Woodworth (Brent) of Columbus, GA; Lee Scott Rosenthal (Victoria); 12 grandchildren: Davin Sampietro, Nathan Burns, Abby Burns, Coral Nutt, Blake Nutt, Makayla Chambliss, Mikolai Skaggs, Mila Skaggs, Scott Woodworth, Evelena Woodworth; Brody Max Rosenthal and Samuel Shay Rosenthal; 7 great grandchildren: Lorelei, Amia, Cash, and Arizona Burns and Caney, Corbin and Crimson Clark. Mr. Nutt is also survived by his sisters, Mary Eloise Duncan of Waynesboro, TN; Wanda Gail Meredith (Clifford) of Ringgold, GA; and his brothers Harold Gwen Nutt (Barbara) and Carl Max Nutt (Louise) of Waynesboro, TN; and he is survived by his friend of 60 years, George Mansfield of Waynesboro, TN.

Mr. Nutt departed this life on Monday, December 28, 2020 at the age of 77 years, 3 months, and 8 days.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Waynesboro Church of Christ, Waynesboro, TN with Ronnie Pope officiating. Burial will follow with Shackleford Funeral Directors assisting the family at Walnut Grove Cemetary. Pallbearers: George Mansfield, Curtis Nutt, Eddie Nutt, Blake Nutt, Makale Dixon & Cliff Meredith. Honorary pallbearer: Steven Wade Nutt.
