Robert Allen Phillips

Robert Allen Phillips, Jr. was born February 23, 1916 in Adamsville, TN the son of the late Robert Allen Phillips and Annice Donaldson Phillips.
He was united in marriage to Willie Ruth Phillips, who preceded him in death on August 3, 2004. Mr. Phillips was a retired school teacher . He was a member of the First Christian Church in Adamsville, Tennessee. He was also a member of the Retired School Teachers Association, where he formerly served as president; a board member of the Pickwick Electric Cooperative; and was a Mason.
He enjoyed farming and gardening and was well known for his vegetables.
Mr. Phillips departed this life on February 9, 2018 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 101 Years, 11 Months, 17 Days.
He is survived by his son, Bobby M. Phillips and wife Brenda of Jonesborough, TN; two grandchildren, Shane Phillips, Heather Gilreath; and three great grandchildren, Jackson Phillips, Reese Phillips, and Thomas Klosterman.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters, and 2 half-brothers.
