Robert "Stevie" Russell was born on February 9, 1957 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the son of the late Robert D. and Maedell Neill Russell.
Robert Stephen Russell "Stevie" as he was better known, grew up in the rural community of Burnt Church. He was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist. A family farm was home to many adventures and many good times. He was dearly loved by his parents and his sisters, but he also was known fondly by his friends. He loved farm work and doing things his way. Stevie always talked about his family and the community with great happiness. The older generation describes a person who was very stubborn as "Anyrey" and Stevie sure was that. Many unbelievable tales have been told and will be told, all of which is probably true.
Like the Elvis song said "I did it my way" Stevie truly did it, life, HIS WAY.
Robert "Stevie" Russell departed this life on February 19, 2024 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 67 years and 10 days.
He is survived by his son, Robert Andrew (Drew) Russell of Adamsville, Tennessee; sisters, Suzanne Russell Linville and Amy Dell Russell Brown both of Savannah, Tennessee; nieces, Neely Brown and Rose Linville Box; and nephews, Taylor Brown and Josh Linville.
