Mr. Robert Leon Smith, Jr. departed this life Friday, June 21, 2013 at McNairy County Regional Hospital.
He was born November 20, 1969 in Memphis, the son of Robert Leon Smith of Red Banks, Sr. of Red Banks, MS and Alice Fish Smith, of Hickory Valley, and lived most of his life in Bolivar. He had lived in Selmer for a year. He worked as a welder in construction and did several other odd jobs. Mr. Smith was a Baptist in belief.
In addition to his parents, survivors include three daughters, Jennifer Smith of Red Banks, MS, Parker and Peyton Smith, both of Southaven, MS; a son, Robert Joseph Smith of Red Banks, MS; a brother, Jeffery Brian Smith of Red Banks, MS; an aunt, Phyllis Phillips of Hickory Valley; and several other aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dollie and Gradie Smith; his maternal grandparents, Chessie Avent and Leo Fish and a maternal step grandparent, Robert Avent.
