Robert Olen Swallow, 84, of Glen, MS passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on May 22, 2026.

Born on March 22, 1942, in Geronimo, Oklahoma Robert was the son of Robert Deen Swallow and May Belle Swallow.

Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who treasured time spent with his family. He enjoyed camping and fishing and made many cherished memories outdoors with those he loved most.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Shirley Faye Swallow; his children, Randall (Sondra), Sheryl (Kevin), Brian (Denise), and Dawson; 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ann Maness of Henderson and a brother, Ronald Dean Swallow of Stratford Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linda Bullock. 

Robert will be remembered for his love of family, his quiet strength, and the lasting memories he created throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday May 28, 2026, at Shackelford Funeral Directors - Crook Avenue Chapel with Bro. Jim Blaylock officiating. Burial will follow at Cave Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue on Thursday from 12:00 PM unitl 2:00 PM service time.
