Robert Norris Webb of Grand Junction, Tennessee died on Monday, November 2, 2015. He was born on August 26, 1920 and lived all his life in Grand Junction, Tennessee.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Roxie Webb; and his beautiful wife of 71 years, Mamie Smith Webb. Survivors include his daughter, Carolyn Webb Redfearn and son in law, Lynn; his granddaughters, Tina Hendrix and her husband, John; Lisa Moore, and her husband, Kevin; and two great grand children, Grayson and Shelby Moore.
Robert was a member of Grand Junction Baptist Church where he was a deacon, taught boy's Sunday school and training union classes; assisted his wife in the nursery for many years; drove the church bus on outings for years, and would play the chimes every Sunday morning before church.
He also served as Mayor of Grand Junction and was the Fire Chief of Grand Junction for many years. Robert also worked closely with the Senior Citizen Group in Grand Junction, and was a Veteran who served in WWII.
Robert was a Christian, a loving husband, daddy, granddaddy and friend to so many in the Grand Junction area.
