Mr. Ash passed away Thursday night at Pine Meadows Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Bolivar.
The husband of Carolyn Rose Stewart Ash, who survives, he retired from TGT as manager of administrative services. Mr. Ash was born August 4, 1927 in Dahlonega, GA to the late Wesley Leonidas Ash and Lula Hughes Ash and lived in Georgia for 31 years. He was a member of Middleton Church of Christ, was a Mason and served his country in the Navy during World War II.
In addition to his wife, whom he married April 16, 1960, he is survived by a daughter, Michelle Stewart Ash of Austin, TX; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Ash Riddle of Dahlonega, GA and Mrs. Virginia Ash McAllister of Smyrna, GA; a brother-in-law, Matt Kuhn of Roswell; and many loved nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Brigadier General Hughes L. Ash, Leon Ash and Eugene L. Ash; and a sister, Helen Ash Kuhn.
