Roger Butler departed this life on Sunday, August 13, 2017, at the age of 67 years, 11 months, and 26 days. He was born in Selmer, Tennessee on August 18, 1949.
Roger had worked for Cotton Mill, a sewing factory in Jackson, Tennessee, as a supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Dena Butler of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Greg Roger Butler of Savannah, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers, Jerry Butler of Pinson, Tennessee and Doyle Ray Butler of Pickwick Dam, Tennessee; and sisters, Mattie Lingelbach and Robbie Presley both of Pickwick Dam, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Wendy Sanders.
