ROGER CROUSE
Henderson, TN: Roger Wayne Crouse, age 70, passed away October 4, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born September 18, 1951 in Jackson, TN the son of Joyce Faye Beshires Crouse and the late Earl Franklin Crouse. He grew up in the Montezuma area of Chester County and was a 1969 graduate of Chester County High School. He married Sandra Kay Moss on January 18, 1974. They made their home in Chester County.
He was a brick mason for forty four years and farmed with his sons since he retired in 2014.
He enjoyed hunting squirrels, fishing, gardening, spending time with his grandchildren, riding them around on four wheelers and watching them play sports.
He was a member of the Cave Springs Baptist Church.
Mr. Crouse is survived by his wife, Sandra Kay Moss Crouse of Henderson; two sons, Jason Crouse and Bradley Crouse and wife Candace of Henderson; six grandchildren, Tate Crouse, Anna Crouse, Knox Crouse, Maddox Crouse, Chase Crouse and Chance Crouse; a brother, Randy Crouse and wife Leigh of Henderson and a sister, Angie Michelle Evans of Henderson.
He was preceded in death by his father and a twin brother, Robert Lane Crouse.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Friday at Cave Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Cave Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue 10:00 AM Friday until 1:00 PM Friday.
