Roger Dale Rickman

Roger Dale Rickman was born May 7, 1948 in Selmer, TN the son of the late James P. and Bertha Lee Sweat Rickman.

Roger worked as a fireman for 13 years with the City of Memphis Fire Department and also worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed deer hunting and spending time with his family.

Mr. Rickman departed this life on June 15, 2023 in Coldwater, Mississippi at the age of 75 Years, 1 Month, 8 Days. He is survived by a son, Dale Rickman and companion Brandy Franks of Coldwater, MS; four grandchildren, Taylor Gibson, Morgan Rickman, Rebecca Rickman, Jordan Rickman; 

a brother, Robin Rickman of Coldwater, MS; three sisters, Diane Hodges and husband Pete of Southaven, MS, Debbie Cunningham and husband Danny of Hernando, MS, Brenda Scott of Southaven, MS; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Rickman was preceded in death by a brother, James O'neal Rickman.
