Roger W. Jones

Roger Wayne Jones was born on December 14, 1944, in Iuka, Mississippi, the son of the late James Roger Jones and Clara Faye Brown Jones, who survives. On September 26, 1963, he was united in marriage to Carmen Jean Bonds, who survives.

Mr. Jones was the entrepreneur and owner of Roger W. Jones Auto Parts, Inc. in Iuka, Mississippi. He was a hard worker and a good provider for his family. He was loved.

Mr. Jones departed this life on January 28, 2014, at the age of 69 years, 1 month and 14 days.

In addition to his wife, Carmen Jones of Adamsville, Tennessee and his mother, Clara Faye Jones of Adamsville, Tennessee, he is survived by two daughters, Robbie Jones of Adamsville, Tennessee and Traci Leigh Thomas of Jackson, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Kevin Thompson and Scott Thompson, both of Adamsville, Tennessee and Jesse Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee and Joe Thomas of Jackson, Tennessee.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two children, Joy Jean Jones and Carmen Jill Stricklin.
