Roger Allen King was born November 8, 1954 in Hornsby, TN the son of the late Warren D. and Elaine Hicks King.
He was united in marriage to Doris Rinks in May of 1987.
Mr. King worked for the State of Tennessee Highway Department in Bethel Springs for 17 years and Charles Goodrum Sawmill for 13 years. He attended Full Gospel Fellowship Church. He loved the outdoors, watching westerns and studying history.
Mr. King departed this life on March 22, 2019 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 64 Years, 4 Months, 14 Days. He is survived by his wife Doris King of Selmer, TN; a stepdaughter, Laurie Raines and husband Scotty of Adamsville, TN; a stepson, Kevin Plunk of Adamsville, TN; two grandchildren, Logan and Hudson Raines; two sisters, Nancy Odom and husband Ronnie, Lisa Rorie both of Burnsville, MS; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. King was preceded in death by four brothers, Dwight, Dennis, Richard, and Gary King; three sisters, Janet Williams, Diane Kirk, and Rhonda Kiestler.
