Romulus Palmer

Romulus (Rummy) Palmerwas born in Weakley County, Tennessee on June 8, 1924.Mr. Palmer served in the US Navy and was stationed in Japan during WWII. He completed 2 years of college and went on to work for ICG Railroad as a rate clerk from which he retired.Mr. Palmer departed this life on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at the age of 87 years, 11 months, 19 days.He is survived by his wife, Hazel Margaret Coats Palmer of Adamsville, Tennessee; his children, Ronda Durr of Memphis, Tennessee and Thomas Palmer of Adamsville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Tommy Palmer, Andrew Durr, Julie Ver Hulst, and Emily Durr; great grandchildren, Tommy Palmer and Parker Koontz; brother, R.C. Miller of Murry, Kentucky.He was preceded in death by his parents, Wade L. and Audrey Dee Palmer; brother, Lloyd Dickson and stepsister, Florence, Ray.
