Ronald Wesley Hollis

Ronald Wesley Hollis was born June 30, 1959 in Wyandotte, MI, the son of Freda Brewer Hollis Jones of Florence, AL, who survives and the late Bobby Troy Hollis. Mr. Hollis was a security guard at TVA in Athens, AL, where he enjoyed his job and his coworkers.

Mr. Hollis departed this life Saturday, December 31, 2016 at ECM Hospital, Florence, Alabama at the age of 57 Years, 6 Months, 1 Day.

Other than his mother, he is survived by a sister, Kimberly Hollis of Florence, AL; special nieces, Kayla and Crystal Hollis and other nieces and nephews that he loved.

In addition to his father, Mr. Hollis was preceded in death by brothers, Timothy Troy and Bobby Curtis Hollis.

Services will be Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Daniel Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Shaun Bailey, Martin Morrow, Andy Lemay, Chris Cox, Kyle Murphy and Brent Henslee.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 11 am until service time at the funeral home.
