Ronald Tucker

April 20, 1963 — April 18, 2026

Memphis, TN

Ronald "Ron" Tucker, a beloved soul whose roots ran deep in Fayette County and whose heart embraced a life full of dedication and joy, passed away on April 18, 2026, in Eads, Tennessee, just two days shy of his 63rd birthday. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, on April 20, 1963, Ron's life was a testament to hard work, community, and passion.

Throughout his career, Ron displayed unwavering commitment and skill, most recently as a machinist at Hubbel, Inc. in Olive Branch, Mississippi, contributing his talents to the company with quiet pride. Before that, he honed his craft at CompCams in Memphis and eventually took the helm as owner and operator of Wicked Addictions in Oakland. For more than two decades, he served as a superintendent at Four-Point Concrete, where his leadership and steadfast work ethic left a lasting impression on those who worked alongside him.

Yet, beyond his professional achievements, Ron was a man who savored the simple pleasures of life. A member of First Baptist in Somerville, he found strength and companionship in his faith community. He cherished his time fishing by calm waters, relished the pursuit of turkey hunting, and relished the freedom of riding motorcycles, each hobby reflecting a spirit attuned to nature and adventure.

Ron’s family was the true center of his universe, surrounded by those he loved dearly. He is survived by his daughters, Courtney Yager of Grand Junction and Catie Brooks  (Christopher) of Lakeland; sons, Willie Tucker of Somerville and Mack Tucker of Lakeland; and his brother, J.D. Tucker of Laconia. His legacy continues through his treasured grandchildren: Samuel and Thomas Yager, Xavier and Paxton Brooks, and Chayton Tucker. Though his presence will be deeply missed, their memories will forever carry his warmth and guidance.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, James Donald Tucker and Shirley M. Jones Tucker, as well as by his granddaughter Adalynn Yager and son-in-law Trey Yager, all of whom remain fondly remembered in the hearts of those who loved him.

Ron’s life was one of quiet strength, marked by steadfast devotion to his work, family, and community. His enduring spirit and kind nature leave behind a legacy that will continue to inspire those who knew him. As friends and family gather to celebrate a remarkable life, they remember Ron Tucker not only for what he did but for who he was—a man whose love, determination, and zest for life forever touched those around him.  Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
