Ronald Edward Vaden

Ronald Edward Vaden was born March 5, 1944 in Florence, AL the son of the late Edward Columbus and Stella Mae Hughes Vaden. Mr. Vaden departed this life Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 2 Months, 1 Day. He was retired from Hassell & Hughes Lumber Co. and a member of Millrock Freewill Baptist Church.

August 22, 1964 he was married to Doris Adams Vaden.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Vaden, granddaughter, Anna Stults and her husband Matthew, two great grandchildren, Tynslee and Avery all of Collinwood, daughter in law, Cynthia Vaden, two brothers, Hubert Vaden of Tuscumbia, AL and Jimmy Vaden of Rhodesville, AL,
a sister, Willie Mae Lack of Rhodesville, AL. In addition to his parents, Mr. Vaden was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Steve Vaden, a sister, Evelyn Risner.

Services will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee with Joel Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in the Collinwood Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Norman Staggs, Kash Staggs, Brandon Adams, Rome Risner, Brian Adams, and Aaron Pope. Honorary pallbearers are Matthew Stults, Myron Risner, Michael Risner, and Jeff Lack. Visitation is Sunday from 6:00-9:00 PM and Monday from 12:00 Noon until service time at the funeral home.
