Rondal Braswellwas born in Portageville, Missouri on January 1, 1938 the son of the late Marmy Moses and Nellie Mae Biggs Braswell.On September 22, 1956 he was united in marriage to Bonnie Irene Hunt, who survives.Mr. Braswell was a laborer for Aqua Glass before retiring. He had also been self employed as a farmer and worked for Kincaid in Union City, Tennessee. He enjoyed talking on the CB Radio, "RollingThunder" was his handle.Mr. Braswell departed this life on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the age of 73 years, 3 months, 8 days.In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Larry Rondal Braswell of Savannah, Tennessee; 5 daughters, Janice House and husband Ronnie of Fulton, Mississippi, Karla Appleton and husband Bruce of Bernie, Missouri, Pansy Helton and husband Jeff of Iuka, Mississippi, Vicky Davis and husband Mike, Amy Umphrey and her late husband Steve all of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 sisters, Jane Quick and Lois Davidson both of Preston, Kentucky; 2 brothers, Rev. David Braswell of St. Louis, Missouri and Rev. Ed Braswell of Bonne Terre, Missouri; 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.In addition to his parents and son-in-law, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Vera Braswell Alexander and Vadis Braswell Jones; a grandson, James Darrell Pogue.
