Ronnie Gene Alley

Ronnie Gene Alley of Clifton was born October 16, 1960 in Savannah, TN the son of the late Thomas Eugene Alley and Johnnie Nell Hill Alley who survives of Clifton, TN and grandson of the late Tom Frank and Willie Mae Alley and Barney Clay and Nan Elizabeth Hill. Mr. Alley died Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 55 Years, 5 Months, 24 Days. He was retired from a towboat as a deckhand and mate. Previously he had worked in construction in Nashville and worked on the pipeline in Wyoming. Ronnie was a member of Savannah Moose Lodge.

Survivors other than his mother are two brothers, Tommy Clay Alley and wife Mary and Danny Ray Alley both of Clifton, TN, four sisters, Yolanda Maxedon and husband Bill of Selmer, TN, Cathy Nell Garner and Lisa Boyd and husband Tommy both of Clifton, TN, and Rita Alley of Smyrna, TN, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Tracy Love officiating. Burial will follow in the Prater's Chapel Cemetery near Clifton with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Timmy Anderson, Jamie Keymon, Randy Kiddy, Sonny Love, David Smith, and Stephen (Fuzz) Pevahouse. Honorary pallbearer is Danny Eugene Lineberry.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:30-9:00 PM and Wednesday from 8:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
