Ronnie Alvin Barnes

Ronnie Alvin Barnes was born November 5, 1945 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Thomas Alvin Barnes and Mamie Sue Kennedy Barnes.
Ronnie worked at the McNairy County General Hospital in Selmer, Tennessee for 40 years.
Mr. Barnes departed this life on April 28, 2020 in McNairy County Health and Rehab Center in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 5 Months, 23 Days. He is survived by two sisters, Mary Kathryn Barnes of Henderson, TN and Peggy Jean Locke of Ramer, TN; special friends, Gale Sculley of Corinth, MS and Barbara Forsyth of Selmer, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie is preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Laverne Cupples; brother, R.C. Howell; special friend, Tom Wallace.
Graveside services will be held at Lake Hill Memorial Gardens in Bethel Springs, TN at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 1st, 2020 with Bro. Eric Jones officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's research Hospital
