Rosalyn Tull Weaver, age 94, passed away at her home on Wednesday afternoon, June 24, 2026.

She was born and reared in Chester County, TN, the daughter of the late Buford E. and Effie Mae Cox Tull. 

She graduated from Chester County High School in 1950 and married James Leo Weaver that same year. They made their home at Hickory Corner before moving to the Trice Road Community. Mr. Weaver preceded her in death on February 7, 2014.

She worked at Western State Mental Hospital in Bolivar, TN as a Psychiatric Technician for 25 years.

Rosalyn enjoyed gardening and raising flowers, sewing, crocheting and doing jigsaw puzzles. She was especially gifted at making specialty cakes.

She is survived by her son Ricky James Weaver (Rita) of Finger; two daughters Phyllis Diann Williams (Ronnie) of Greenville, TN and Carolyn Ann Thomas (Jackie) of Henderson; 6 grandchildren Bree Williams, Brian Thomas (Misty), Brandon Thomas, Brock Thomas (Christan), Misty Cole, and Ashley Ford (Justin); 15 great grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; a sister Ina Lee Tull Cooper (Max) of Chattanooga, TN.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rosalyn was preceded in death by a grandson Kurt Williams and two brother Clyde Allen Tull and Glenn Wright Tull.

Graveside services for Rosalyn will be 3:00 PM Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Chester County Memory Gardens.
